Description

THE JOB: Media Analyst

THE PLACE: Gurgaon, India

Hours of Work: Must be Flexible with Shift Hours as it is subject to US Time Zones IST 8pm - 5 am

Overall Objective:

The Media Analyst should be an expert in dealing with market research and analysis. Should be responsible for demonstrating a strong working knowledge of the digital (specifically mobile) space and media research. This individual is responsible for identifying industry related opportunities and solutions on a regular basis for the sales team.

The Media Analyst sets the tone for developing actionable product marketing collaterals to be used by the sales and business development team for increasing revenue.


KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Content Development
Preparation of sales and marketing collaterals including but not limited to case studies and white papers.

Produce reports and analyses on issues in mobile media research utilizing Comscore and other research tools.

Develop visually appealing charts and ides for graphics for sales deck, marketing materials etc.

Analyze data collected, using traditional and advanced methods where appropriate, and report findings in visual presentations.

Create and design sales collateral such as seasonal marketing packages for sales team

Collaborate with management team to ensure that all deliverables meet campaign objectives

Present research findings and support the development of key insights through case studies and white papers.
 Media Market Research

Lead the process of industry analysis through preparing various case studies and white papers relevant to specific campaigns.

Demonstrate ability to utilize resources to help guide Vdopia’s marketing goals in their respective markets.

Understand and adopt new techniques and technologies that are relevant for company’s media strategies.

Provide and discuss industry information on media, markets and related dynamics

Provide and/or guide strategic input for all plans internally and externally

Demonstrate problem solving and intervention when necessary

Understand and analyze the root causes of problems and develop ways to rectify

Guide and assist staff to arrive at potential solutions to problems/issues

Construct and deliver accurate, honest and timely performance management documents
Strategic Thinking & Leadership
EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

Bachelor’s Degree

3 + years of marketing/market research experience

Familiar with Media Industry

Understanding of key research sources, i.e. Comscore etc

Knowledge of current trends and innovations in media

Knowledge of digital media

High-level proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook

Creative and visual aesthetics
